We're Hiring: Operations Executive—with Freight Forwarding Experience

Location: Iloilo City, Philippines

Type: Full-time

Join SAMLEX as an Operations Executive and take charge of end-to-end sea import operations—from job creation to shipment release. You'll be the key link between agents, customers, and internal teams, ensuring every shipment moves smoothly, accurately, and profitably.

Key responsibilities:

  • Handle air, sea, LCL, and consolidation shipments.
  • Record and update shipment details in the logistics system.
  • Provide professional and timely communication to clients via phone and email. Manage documentation and filing and maintain shipment records.
  • Coordinate logistics requirements directly with clients.
  • Facilitate cargo clearance processes at ports.
  • Collaborate with overseas agents from nomination to shipment arrival.
  • Manage bookings, track shipment progress, and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Ensure timely billing and provide weekly shipment status reports.
  • Follow up with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and couriers for rates and schedules (inbound and outbound)

What You Bring:

  • Experience in logistics, shipping, import/export operations, or customer service.
  • Proficiency in Incoterms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
