Job Summary:

The General Accounting Assistant is responsible for supporting the company's accounting and administrative functions. The position ensures the accurate, proper, and timely processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, tax and government-related remittances, and the renewal of business permits and licenses. This role contributes to maintaining the company's efficient, uninterrupted, and compliant operations

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform general accounting functions such as journal entries, account reconciliations, ad preparation of financial reports.
  • Ensure proper, accurate, and timely processing of Accounts payables and receivables, Tax and government remittances (VAT, EWT, Income Tax, etc), Renewal of business permits and licenses.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
  • Coordinate with government agencies and external partners to ensure compliance with local regulations
  • Assist in financial accounts management, monitoring of transactions, and other accounting-related activities
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Finance Department as required

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in BS Accountancy, Financial Management, Banking and Finance or any related course
  • With at least 1 year related experience in general accounting or finance preferred
  • Knowledgeable in Philippine taxation and government compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting sofware
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to work in Quezon City
