JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitoring safety attitude of workers on site throughout the work shift.
• Participate and conduct tool box meeting.
• Report to the Safety Manager on any issue found onsite.
• Conduct safety orientation for newly hire, visitors & etc.
• Conduct safety training to the workforce.
• Preparation of necessary safety signs and installation to proper designated areas
• Advise workers on good and best safety practices in the workplace.
• Ensure work permit is being executed throughout the project site.
• Conduct site inspection for hand tool, power tools and heavy equipment,
• Ensure the safety compliance of the operation team throughout the work shift.
• Implement work stoppage in case an imminent danger occurs.
• Conduct and lead Safety Patrol on his/her designated area on a daily basis.
• Continuous monitoring at site condition and give advices to the operations team/area owner, in case there's unsafe condition and unsafe practices found and observed.
• Conducts investigation when an accident on his/her area occurs.
• Ensure all related work safety documents are being followed and maintained, soft & hard copy.
• Participate with the creation of Job Safety Analysis and HIRAC.
• Proper handover of activities on the next shift.
• Directly reporting to Safety Manager and or to the Project Manager in absence of the Safety Manager.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of bachelor's degree or any four-year course
• At least 5 years of experience in construction as Safety Supervisor.
• Preferably with COSH 40hrs, LCM 48hrs, HIRAC, valid First Aid/Basic Life Support training and other related safety training in construction industry.
• Preferably Occupational Safety & Health Practitioner for construction industry.
• Others:
• Excellent knowledge in MS office programs such as Word, Excel and Power point presentation.
• Proficient in oral and written communication with good moral conduct.
• Complex analysis and higher problem-solving skill, can work extended hour on project site.
• Able to perform work on high-elevation, underground facilities, confined spaces, bright/low light and other construction applicable site condition.
• Amenable to work as Project-based employee
• Can work from Monday-Saturday with shifting schedule (Sunday/Holiday if needed)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
