Retail Store Supervisor

Baliuag, Philippines SM Retail Inc Full time ₱1,200,000 - ₱2,400,000 per year

Leads in the daily store operations; constant monitoring, reordering & stock transfers; assumes the responsibility of the Store Head and does related duties as may be assigned including Treasury and CSS Functions.

Job Qualification:

  • College graduate
  • With at least 3 years of experience in receiving, dispatching and inventory control procedures

Job Responsibilities:

1. Selling Functions

  • Responsible for attainment of sales target for Outright
  • Reviews and analyzes Key Performance Indicators for sales for Outright
  • Ensures merchandise availability by constant monitoring, reordering & stock transfers
  • Ensures excellent store condition at all times
  • Maintains excellent customer service
  • Maintains excellent store merchandise displays, compliant to standards & approved store layout
  • Maintains store cleanliness & ensures store selling assets are in working condition
  • Ensures compliance on Sales Promotion/BTL standards/protocol
  • Ensures compliance on Gondola Allowance

2. CSS Functions

  • Develop strategies to create new accounts.
  • Entertains all walk in wholesale/corporate client of the store on a one on one basis.
  • Explain to customers every inquiry about the products, its features, benefits, application, and technical specifications.
  • Lease with merchandising all orders and if the items are not available, have it source out to complete order.
  • Coordinate with Central Warehouse and Branch Warehouse Supervisor on the time frame of delivery and give feedback on the delivery date. In case there is a conflict of dates, a workable solution be proposed and accepted.
  • Coordinates repairs and other after sales service.
  • Manage and develop customer data base of the store.
  • Initiates text and email blast every store sale events.
  • Send business proposal to potential clients via email.
  • Visit potential client to submit and discuss business proposal.
  • Provide Corporate Client, Account Opening Form to be accomplish and all requirements to be submitted
  • Maintain and manage wholesale reservation area and completeness of orders prior to deliveries.
  • Handle and follow-up corporate account receivables.
  • Performs Treasury Functions
  • Performs other related functions that maybe assigned by superiors from time to time.

3. Selling Functions

4. General Supervision

  • Responsible for controlling costs at the branch, within policy & budget limits
  • Timely reporting of HR, Accounting & other Head Office requirements
  • Monitors supplies consumption of the department/section
  • Ensures proper maintenance and use of facilities/equipment in the branch.
  • Timely reporting of significant incidents & violations (customer complaint, security, asset damage, loss, accident, labor, late opening & other issues)
  • Orients new employee on duties, responsibilities, policies & standard operating procedures
  • Trains employees on the job & recommends further appropriate training for subordinates
  • Maintains performance record of every staff as basis of evaluation
  • Recommends regularization, transfers, promotions of personnel
  • 'Walks every aisle daily' to ensure outstanding execution in every department
  • Supports Management goals, decisions, policies, requirements & expectations
  • Cascades management directions to concerned employees in a timely manner
  • Secures resources, skills & support required for successful implementation
  • Completes assigned projects & actions within deadline
  • Provides timely feedback & reporting on progress, completion & issues arising thereof
  • Compliance with DOLE, fire safety & other standards
