Core responsibilities

  • Manage staff:

Hire, train, schedule, and supervise bakery employees to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Oversee production:

Monitor the preparation and baking of products to ensure they meet quality and consistency standards.
- Manage inventory:

Track supplies, place orders, and ensure there is enough stock to meet demand, while also controlling costs.
- Maintain standards:

Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in the bakery environment and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
- Ensure quality control:

Examine baked goods for quality, taste, and consistency, and make adjustments to machinery or processes as needed.
- Customer service:

Handle customer inquiries and complaints, and ensure a positive customer experience.
