Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Controllership & Reporting

  • Lead the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations, and other statutory requirements.

  • Manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and financial consolidation processes.

  • Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

2. Accounts Receivable (AR) Management

  • Oversee the full AR cycle, including invoicing, collections, credit management, and dispute resolution.

  • Develop and implement AR policies to ensure timely collections and minimize bad debts.

  • Monitor customer accounts, review aging reports, and coordinate with sales and operations to resolve outstanding receivables.

  • Approve credit terms, establish credit limits, and manage credit risk in alignment with company policies.

  • Ensure proper application of customer payments and reconciliation of AR accounts.

  • Drive continuous improvement in AR processes, including automation and efficiency initiatives.

3. Cash Flow & Treasury Support

  • Monitor daily cash flow requirements, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.

  • Coordinate with banks regarding deposits, collections, and financing arrangements.

  • Forecast cash requirements based on AR projections, payment schedules, and operational plans.

4. Audit & Compliance

  • Act as the key liaison for internal and external audits.

  • Ensure timely submission of tax filings, permits, and financial compliance reports.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of policies, procedures, and controls.

5. Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise and mentor accounting and Treasury staff

  • Provide training and ensure adherence to best practices.

  • Establish KPIs for the finance team, including AR collection efficiency.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales and Operations to align invoicing, delivery documentation, and payment collection processes.

  • Support management in making data-driven decisions by providing AR and financial trend analyses.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.

  • At least 5–8 years of progressive experience in financial controllership or accounting management, ideally in the construction, manufacturing, or ready-mix concrete industry.

  • Strong knowledge of AR processes, credit management, and Philippine taxation.

  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.

  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
