Summary: This role will focus on diagnosing, resolving, and preventing data quality issues, which is critical for investor reporting and regulatory compliance. You will implement and maintain data governance structures while performing ongoing monitoring and remediation. The position requires a technically proficient individual who can perform deep root cause analysis across our data ecosystem while effectively collaborating with our Australian business teamResponsibilities:Conduct root cause analysis of data quality issues across our technology stack (Salesforce, SQL Server, loan servicing systems)Develop SQL queries to investigate and validate data integrity throughout the pipelineImplement improved data validation controls and automated quality checksSet up and configure data governance frameworks in Microsoft Purview (or similar tool) for monitoring and complianceCollaborate on the development of data quality metrics, thresholds, and scoring systems to measure and track qualityEstablish automated monitoring processes to proactively identify issuesCollaborate with engineers to implement technical solutions for data quality problemsDocument data lineage, transformation logic, and system integration pointsConduct regular data quality assessments and report to stakeholdersQualifications:Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, data engineering or related field3+ years working in data analysis, data governance or data quality rolesAdvanced proficiency SQL Server and ReportingExperience with Microsoft Purview or similar data governance toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability in root cause analysis and data quality framework implementationKnowledge of data quality dimensions and metrics developmentExperience with ETL processes and data integration conceptsDesirablePrevious experience in financial services, particularly mortgage lendingKnowledge of C# and loan management systemsExperience with Salesforce data structures, validation rules, and triggersAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiencesStrong knowledge of agile concepts and methodologiesWork Setup: Work shift: DayshiftSetup: Full onsite - Monday to FridayLocation: Ortigas, Pasig By Applying, you give consent to collect, store, and/or process personal and/or sensitive information for the purpose of recruitment and employment may it be internal to Cobden & Carter International and/or to its clients.
