We are seeking an accomplished Software Engineer to contribute to the development of Juju, a large open-source Go project that powers complex distributed software systems worldwide.

Juju is the driving force behind model-driven operations, offering a means to operate complex software on public cloud, private cloud, Kubernetes, and bare-metal.

Cross-functional teams collaborate closely to achieve shared objectives through continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

  • Participate in designing, delivering, and supporting features in a highly concurrent, highly distributed system that drives cloud automation and software operations at scale.
  • Collaborate proactively with a geographically dispersed team.
  • Debug issues and interact with upstream communities publicly.
  • Work alongside expert engineers including specialists in various fields.
  • Discuss ideas and collaborate on finding effective solutions.
Requirements:
  • Experience developing software using Go programming language.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, especially in online environments.
  • An exceptional academic track record from both high school and preferably university.
