Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a talented software development engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python, Kubernetes, and cloud computing.

This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining open-source solutions for public cloud and private infrastructure. As part of the team, you will collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to design, build, and maintain solutions that will be deployed on public and private clouds and local workstations.

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient software systems using Python and Kubernetes
  • Maintain and improve existing open-source solutions for public cloud and private infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop software solutions
  • Debug issues and interact with upstream communities to resolve technical problems

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of distributed systems concepts, and experience working with both Kubernetes and machine-oriented open source applications. A bachelor's degree in a technical field and proficiency in Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred) are required. Additional skills such as hands-on experience with machine learning libraries, container technologies, and public clouds are highly valued.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Strong background in Python, Kubernetes, and cloud computing

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries and tools
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, LXD, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and public clouds (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
