Senior Business Financial Director

Overview:

This is a senior-level accounting position involving overseeing client accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting and providing strategic financial insights to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and reporting.
  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of accountants and bookkeepers to achieve departmental goals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards tax regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare review and analyze financial statements budgets and forecasts.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with management and clients to address financial inquiries resolve issues and provide strategic insights.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting practices.
  • Experience in property management accounting is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Yardi AppFolio or similar.
