The role of a Technical Application Specialist is to provide expert support for customers using Elite 3E software to meet their business objectives. This position offers technical consultative services in a non-call center environment, focusing on project-based tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Pulling service request tickets from various channels and documenting challenges, expectations of resolution, steps to reproduce, and necessary logs and attachments
  • Recording all information regarding challenges using case management systems
  • Replicating customer challenges using remote access utilities and other resources
  • Leveraging internal knowledge base resources, peer knowledge, and documentation for known solutions
  • Isolating causes and taking restorative actions while minimizing disruption to the customer's operation
  • Providing timely and effective status updates throughout the life of the service request until resolution
  • Communicating and recommending complex business processes and procedures to resolve customer issues and potential future preventative actions

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, Finance Analyst, and/or Accounting and Finance
  • 2+ years technical, financial, accounting, and/or customer service experience with financial programs
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or prior Legal industry accounting experience preferred
  • Knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server, MS office, Azure, Azure Monitoring, Smartsheet, IE, Chrome, and relational database concepts is a plus
  • Exceptional customer service skills with expertise in troubleshooting and solving complex problems
