Proposal Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Proposal Manager to join our team. As a key member of our proposal development team, you will be responsible for managing multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring that each submission is clear, accurate, and strategically positioned to win.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing win strategies, proposal plans, and other key deliverables for a successful proposal. APMP certification is a plus, or experience with APMP, Shipley, and/or similar methodologies.

You will work closely with our Sales Team and Proposal Managers to support the creation and development of proposals in response to commercial and public sector RFx/tenders. Responsibilities include reviewing requests for proposals (RFxs); capturing win themes; developing the proposal plan and templates; collaborating with technology partners on content creation; and reviewing proposals for grammar, punctuation, and consistency in style and formatting.

This role requires excellent writing, editing, and proofing skills, as well as experience working on remote teams. Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement effective win strategies, proposal plans, and other key deliverables for successful proposals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Technology, to develop winning proposals.
  • Review and edit proposals for grammar, punctuation, and consistency in style and formatting.
  • Conduct thorough reviews for accuracy, compliance, and clarity, incorporating feedback from internal stakeholders where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in proposal development.
  • Strong background developing win strategies, proposal plans, and other key deliverables for a successful proposal.
  • APMP certification or experience with APMP, Shipley, and/or similar methodologies.
