Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to strengthen our financial operations with a focus on construction industry standards.

Our team values precision, accountability, and trust. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing project-level accounting, including job costing, WIP (Work in Progress) schedules, and percentage-of-completion reporting. Additionally, you will manage contract compliance, lien releases, retention, and change order financial tracking. Your expertise will also be required to prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP, as well as support consolidation and reporting across multiple entities. Furthermore, you will be tasked with managing cash flow, budgets, and forecasts tied to project pipelines, as well as coordinating with project managers on budgets, pay applications, and cost-to-complete reports. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and at least 5 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, with construction industry experience preferred. They should possess strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, proficiency in Vista by Viewpoint, or other construction ERP/accounting software, and advanced skills in Excel for financial modeling and reporting. Excellent English communication skills and high attention to detail are also essential requirements for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
