Financial Operations Specialist

The Financial Operations Assistant will be responsible for managing financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, financial record maintenance, payroll processing, and employee reimbursements.
As a key member of the team, you will ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions, maintain proper documentation, and communicate effectively with internal teams regarding financial matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other relevant documents
- Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for senior management
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Process payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, superannuation, and entitlements
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax and employment laws
- Assist with employee reimbursements and benefits processing
- Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding financial matters
- At least 1 year of experience in data entry, administration, and general accounting, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and any accounting software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working with secure financial record systems and an awareness of maintaining strong cyber security protocols
- A diploma in Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or a related field, or relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to enter high volumes of data with accuracy and minimal errors
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders
