Senior Financial Operations Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to lead our internal finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, tax compliance, and financial modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare and analyze the three core financial statements: income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
- Establish, monitor, and continuously improve financial control systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk management.
- Manage vendor invoicing, collections, payroll, and cash flow monitoring.
- Develop and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow report to support liquidity management.
- Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making.
- Provide scenario analysis and cash flow projections to management.
- Experience supporting external audits of company accounts is valued.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (CPA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in a managerial or senior role in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS knowledge or willingness to learn is an advantage.
- Practical experience with U.S. tax law.
- Familiarity with audit processes and buy-side financial due diligence is a plus but optional.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong command of financial reporting, tax compliance, and financial modeling.
- Understanding of the three core financial statements and their interconnections.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of critical evaluation.
- Highly organized; able to maintain orderly records and documents.
- Proactive in identifying and solving problems; initiates process improvements without prompting.
