Procurement Strategist

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and sourcing activities of our cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with experience in managing vendor relationships, driving improvements, and championing compliance.

Our organization is a national leader in providing highly secure and scalable sovereign cloud capability to governments and critical infrastructure sectors. We have pioneered the development of Australia's only sovereign, hyperscale cloud with security at its core, being one of the first cloud organisations to be Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) certified.

We continue to drive innovation, delivering First of a Kind capability across the sector. As we lead in technological advancements, our organization is entering a defining phase of growth with a strategic investment from a key stakeholder. This investment will scale our capabilities and introduce new services, directly addressing Australia's strategic national security demands.

This role is completely remote, offering flexibility to work from home. You'll work closely with our leadership team in Australia, including our Chief Financial Officer. • Lead the supply chain function: Oversee the full administration and execution of procurement and sourcing activities.
• Manage vendor relationships: Build strong partnerships to secure competitive pricing, quality, and compliance.
• Drive improvements: Investigate opportunities for cost savings, efficiency, and process upgrades, and make them happen.
• Champion compliance: Ensure every activity follows policy and procedure while helping us grow supply chain maturity.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or Business.
• 10+ years of procurement experience (ideally in software, hardware, or IT services).
• Strong knowledge of supply chain frameworks, compliance, and documentation.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where autonomy and proactivity are valued.
• Exposure to supply chain software tools — extra edge if you've explored AI-driven solutions.
