Internal Audit Leadership Role

The Internal Audit Head is responsible for leading the internal audit department, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies. This role involves developing and executing robust audit plans to assess the effectiveness of risk management and control processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive audit plans to assess risk management and control processes.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations.
  • Report findings and recommendations to senior leadership and the board.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in internal auditing, with a strong focus on banking services.
  • A deep understanding of banking regulations, particularly risk assessment and management.
  • Proven experience in auditing standards, financial reporting, and risk management.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing audit teams and projects.
  • BSP/BSF certification is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in audit software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting audit findings to senior management and stakeholders.
