Enterprise Project Manager

Are you a skilled project manager with experience in enterprise IT programs, process improvement, and software engineering project management? Do you have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and the ability to lead cross-cultural, remote, and global project teams and customers?

We are looking for someone who can drive project success while managing risks, ensure programs and projects are delivered within the schedule, scope, cost, budget, and resources expectations, identify key technical and project risks and issues, and actively put mitigating actions in place.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Linux, Open Source, and Cloud Technologies, strong negotiation and influencing skills, and be able to travel domestically and internationally. A Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and Project Management Certification, preferably PMP or equivalent certification, are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure programs and projects are delivered within the schedule, scope, cost, budget, and resources expectations
  • Identify key technical and project risks and issues and actively put mitigating actions in place
  • Maintain strong customer focus and work with all key stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
  • Conduct regular status meetings and business reviews with customers and provide direction when needed
  • Manage the delivery schedule of critical third-party deliverables for the project
  • Advocate to customers the appropriate technologies from Canonical's portfolio
  • Drive project success while managing risks

Requirements:

  • Experience in Enterprise IT Programs, Process Improvement, and Software Engineering Project Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
