About the RoleWe seek a highly skilled and driven Engineering Team Lead who can inspire, motivate and guide a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example.Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Execution & Delivery
    • Lead sprint planning, retrospectives and technical prioritization to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
    • Drive a consistent and high-quality development process across multiple engineering squads.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate strategic goals into executable engineering work.
    • Identify and resolve architectural or technical debt issues, escalating to Principal Engineer or CTO as needed.
  • Manage and support a team of software engineers, creating an environment where they can do their best work.
  • Set clear goals and performance expectations, and provide timely feedback and coaching.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner closely with Product, Design and Customer Success to ensure a clear understanding of customer needs and technical implications.
    • Provide visibility into engineering progress, risks and constraints.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in engineering management.
  • A strong technical background in modern web development (e.g. Python, Node.js, Golang, React).
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, observability, IaC).
  • Experience working in high-velocity teams that ship iteratively while maintaining high standards.
  • A clear communicator with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
