Transport Operations Manager

This is a pivotal role in ensuring logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. As an integral part of a dynamic team, you'll collaborate with colleagues on both country and regional levels to manage logistics costs effectively and enhance the delivery experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and optimize transport orders across multiple modes (sea, air, road, and express)
  • Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and customer service teams regarding shipment status and revisions
  • Collaborate strongly with multi-functional teams to achieve logistical objectives
  • Support the team in maintaining optimum logistics costs and meeting customer satisfaction targets
  • Correct additional costs or freight charges in the Transport Management System
  • Lead transport execution projects
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field; Business Management or Engineering is beneficial
  • Minimum one year of related work experience in Shared Services, Global Business Services, or Business Process Outsourcing is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Must be a team player with excellent analytical skills and strong organizational abilities
  • Fluent verbal and written communication in Turkish is essential
  • Amenable to work non-traditional hours and report to a hybrid work setup
