Actuarial Analyst

This position is a key contributor to the Asia Valuation Shared Service Center, focusing on modeling and valuation support across the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, validating, and implementing model changes, including basis changes, new products, and enhancements. Additionally, they will monitor and manage quarterly controls, such as reserve movement analysis and audit logs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop model changes, including basis changes, new products, and enhancements.
  • Monitor and manage quarterly controls.
  • Support business units with annual and ad-hoc projects related to Basis Changes, Regulatory Requirements/Changes, and audits.
  • Communicate effectively with country leads and local Business Units on change status and results.
  • Identify and implement improvements to VSSC tools, processes, and frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • 2+ years of experience in the life insurance industry; modeling and valuation experience is a plus.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with experience applying actuarial concepts to model and analyze financial metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey ideas and results to stakeholders.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize effectively.
  • Adaptability to evolving environments and resilience under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration experience.
