Actuarial Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Actuarial Assistant Manager to join our team. This role will involve developing, validating and implementing model changes into production models while ensuring they adhere to accepted modeling principles.

The successful candidate will monitor and manage the execution of quarterly controls such as reserve movement analysis, audit logs and inclusion controls. They will also support business units with annual and ad-hoc projects and effectively communicate the status and results of these changes.

Key responsibilities include identifying and implementing solutions to improve VSSC tools, processes and general framework. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or related field and at least 5 years of actuarial work experience.

Requirements
  • Associate designation in any recognized actuarial organization
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office, GGY AXIS, SQL, Qlikview and Python
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to gather, synthesize, organize and report information, results and recommendations
  • Strong ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail

Working Arrangement

This role offers a hybrid setup, allowing you to work from home three days a week and onsite two days a week.
