Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our digital banking team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our digital products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate requirements and design documents to create comprehensive test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing on digital banking builds/releases.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and UX designers to ensure quality standards are upheld.
  • Raise detailed and reproducible defect reports; verify bug fixes.
  • Maintain and execute manual test cases.
  • Contribute to building and executing automated test scripts is a plus.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Support UAT activities and documentation for regulatory/compliance needs.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in QA testing, preferably in digital banking or fintech environments.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with using Jira or similar tools.
  • Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, and usage automation tools like BrowserStack is a bonus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to articulate issues and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and eager to learn, especially digital banking trends.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks.
