Key Role Summary

The Communications Strategist plays a vital role in developing and implementing employee communications messages. This position requires a visionary who can seek out best practices and trends in the field to drive effective communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Streamline complex ideas and business strategies into engaging and approachable messages tailored to the audience.
  • Create various types of employee communications tactics, including electronic, print collateral, intranet articles, processes, and job aids.
  • Support the execution of written communication plans, including program strategies, messaging, tactics, and timelines.
  • Partner closely with internal clients and teammates to deliver on company priorities and objectives.
  • Provide consultation and recommendations to internal clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in employee communications or equivalent education.
  • Understanding of corporate communication practices.
  • Experience in human resources or internal communications is a plus.
  • BA/BS in communications is preferred.
  • Knowledge of project management techniques.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
