Employee Communications Expert

Job Summary:

As an employee communications expert, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and delivering effective internal communication strategies that resonate with employees worldwide. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the company's voice and messaging, ensuring seamless alignment across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop compelling employee communications plans, leveraging business acumen and creative flair to engage diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic communication initiatives that drive business outcomes.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
  • Design and disseminate electronic communications, including newsletters, corporate announcements, and other digital content, using internal communication channels.
  • Partner with team members on special events, program launches, and new initiatives, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Draft articles, memos, e-cards, and content for elevator flyers, e-newsletters, and print promotional collateral, adhering to AP Style guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in employee communications or equivalent education.
  • Thorough understanding of corporate communication practices and principles.
  • Experience in human resources or internal communications is highly valued.
  • BA/BS in communications or a related field is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of project management techniques and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various levels within an organization.
  • Copywriting and proofing proficiency, ensuring error-free and engaging content.
