UK Payroll Administrator Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator & Bookkeeper to provide comprehensive payroll and bookkeeping services for our clients based overseas. This role requires solid knowledge of UK payroll, taxes, and bookkeeping standards, plus the ability to liaise professionally with management and employees.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing, including calculation of PAYE, National Insurance Contributions (NIC), statutory payments (sick, maternity/paternity), and pension deductions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Management: Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing for UK-based companies, preparing and submitting all necessary payroll documentation to HMRC, ensuring strict adherence to UK deadlines and compliance requirements.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Stay updated with UK payroll legislation, accounting standards, and GDPR requirements, suggesting and implementing process improvements for efficiency and compliance.

Requirements:

  • UK-recognised accounting or payroll qualification is desirable.
  • Previous remote work experience with UK or international clients preferred.

Nice to have: Ability to deliver services in accordance with UK regulatory requirements and a manner compliant with GDPR for any personal data handled.
