About the Accounting Position

This is a senior-level accounting role that involves managing general ledger transactions, preparing and reconciling balance sheet and P&L accounts, and providing detailed schedules and insights for management and audit support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record general ledger transactions accurately, including accruals, month-end adjustments, intercompany entries, and balance sheet entries.
  • Lead and execute the month-end closing process to ensure timely compliance.
  • Prepare and reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts, investigate variances, and provide detailed schedules and insights for management and audit support.
  • Ensure adherence to US GAAP, internal accounting policies, and audit requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years working with a reputable accounting firm as an accountant.
  • Strong proficiency in NetSuite and QuickBooks Online.
  • Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
