Financial Expert Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned financial expert to join our team as a Senior Accountant. This role offers the chance to grow and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.

  • Expand our client base by delivering exceptional, professional service in a timely and efficient manner.
  • BUILD LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS BY PROVIDING PROACTIVE AND PERSONALIZED SUPPORT.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, and partnerships.
  • Handle calculations, preparation, and lodgement of BAS, IAS, and FBT returns for companies.
  • Advise clients on complex technical matters and offer a full range of services.
  • Prepare tax returns for individuals, including those with rental properties, capital gains, PSI, and sole traders.
  • Submit Super Guarantee Charge Statements and TPAR reports in a timely manner.
  • Deliver accurate and insightful monthly financial reports.
  • Maintain up-to-date client files and ensure seamless internal communication.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within an accounting firm.
  • Proficiency in key accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple clients effectively.
  • Familiarity with tax agent portals, including the ATO Tax Agent Portal.
Desirable Technical Experience:
  • Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) expertise.
  • Capital Gains Tax (CGT) knowledge.
  • Division 7A compliance understanding.
  • Personal Services Income (PSI) awareness.
  • Tax planning expertise.
