Financial Operations Specialist

A skilled Financial Operations Specialist is needed to support the success of our business. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, streamlining transaction processing, and supporting key automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform financial record maintenance tasks:
    • Record and categorize daily financial transactions accurately
    • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
    • Maintain an organized general ledger
    • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly
  • Provide accounting support:
    • Manage bookkeeping needs
    • Assist with the financial nuances of sales, returns, and vendor purchasing
  • Utilize Bill.com to process and manage vendor payments efficiently
  • Support payroll administration in coordination with internal systems and external providers
  • Assist in generating financial reports and help identify trends and areas for cost optimization or revenue improvement
  • Contribute to automating workflows using QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, or other integrated tools
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a retail or e-commerce setting
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and experience using Bill.com is required
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and able to learn new technology quickly
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks independently
