Senior Workday Expert: End-to-End Strategic Leadership

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with expertise in Workday solutions, providing strategic leadership from solution design through implementation delivery.

This senior expert plays a dual role across the sales and delivery lifecycle, serving as a trusted advisor during the pursuit phase and leading the functional workstreams during deployment.

They partner with pursuit teams to provide expert solutions guidance, contributing to RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and overall solution strategy.

In this role, they ensure that proposed Workday solutions are scalable, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with client goals.

The Senior Workday Expert leads the development of effort and budgetary estimations aligning to customer asks, supports the transition from sales to delivery, and provides quality assurance oversight.

They collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Financials, Integrations, Data, Reporting, and Change Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with pursuit and sales teams to provide expert solution guidance.
  • Develop effort and budgetary estimations aligning to customer asks.
  • Support the transition from sales to delivery.
  • Provide quality assurance oversight.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across multiple domains.
  • Lead the end-to-end functional solution design.
  • Drive key client sessions to ensure robust solution design and client alignment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of actual implementation experience.
  • Strong Workday implementation experience.
  • Ability to work in diverse environments and effectively collaborate across teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
