Big Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Big Data Engineer to design, develop, and implement data pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Snowflake, Azure services, and modern architecture patterns. Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting is also required.

  • Design and develop robust and scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Collaborate with architects and platform leads to implement a new framework for data consolidation.
  • Optimize data flows and storage for performance, cost, and reliability.
  • Implement data quality, governance, and privacy standards across the data platform.
  • Provide L3 support for deployed components in the data environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop data pipelines that meet business requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines and related processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Azure services, and modern architecture patterns.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting.
  • Experience with sensitive data handling and compliance frameworks is a plus.
