About the Opportunity

This exciting opportunity is designed for experienced professionals who can drive growth, innovation, collaboration, and excellence in financial modeling. As a Manager - Model Build professional, you will work with a team of modelling professionals to create, analyze, and optimize complex financial models.

You will lead a team of modelling professionals and train, motivate, and manage junior team members on assignments. You will collaborate closely with team members, learning and contributing to assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of active assignments.
  • Lead in the creation and optimization of comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and refine assumptions, parameters, and scenarios under the guidance of senior managers to ensure model robustness and reliability.
  • Discuss commercial issues with clients and ensure they are accurately reflected in the model.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing to validate model assumptions and outputs, aiding clients in making informed decisions.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of our financial modeling methodologies and tools, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Prepare comprehensive model documentation detailing assumptions, methodologies, and results.
  • Maintain meticulous records of modeling processes and methodologies to uphold our high standards and ensure consistency.
  • Lead in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
About You

You will be an experienced manager with a passion for financial modeling and driven by growth. You will have 4-6 years of relevant experience in a financial role within a recognized advisory practice or large corporate setting.

A good appreciation of accounting concepts is beneficial. An in-depth understanding of Project Finance, Corporate Finance, or Financial Planning concepts is required.

Strong analytical skills with proven experience in building and operating financial models using Excel are essential. A degree qualified in a numerate discipline is also required.

Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard is desirable.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

You must be able to work independently and as part of a remote team.
