Strategic Financial Leader Opportunity

As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the financial direction of our organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our finance team and providing strategic support to senior management. You will ensure the financial integrity of the finance function and develop strong business planning, financial control, and reporting to maximise efficiencies and opportunities for growth.

This role suits a commercially-minded and astute financial leader who enjoys taking a proactive role in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving business environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the finance team to deliver accurate and timely management information to stakeholders.
  • Develop and lead the evolution of our financial reporting processes and business systems.
  • Support senior management in budgetary planning and forecasting.
  • Ensure all financial accounting and administration functions are performed properly, including internal controls and reconciliations.
  • Produce and interpret management accounts.
  • Ensure the year-end audit is conducted properly.
  • Generate and maintain cash flow and budgeting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax and statutory matters.
  • Financial planning (forecasting and budgeting).
  • Reporting of budget variances and cost control.
Requirements:
  • An accounting qualification, such as ACA/ACCA or CIMA.
  • 5-7 years post-qualification experience in a financial management role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial software and databases.
  • Experience working with financial forecasting software is an advantage.
