Training Camp Operations Manager

The Training Camp Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of a training facility, ensuring a safe and functional environment for staff and participants.

Key responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and organizing activities, instilling discipline and proper values and behavior among trainees, managing staff and trainees, and maintaining facilities and equipment adhering to health and safety regulations.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily operations, including daily schedules of trainee activities, manage camp resources, services, and facilities.
  • Develop daily itineraries of responsibilities for trainees.
  • Ensure activities run smoothly and safely.
  • Enforce health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining a secure environment.
  • Maintain and repair camp facilities and equipment, ensuring everything is in good working order.
  • Structure activities, plan menus, and manage resources efficiently.
Qualifications:
  • Prior military training experience and facilitated training in military camps are preferred.
  • Strong leadership, direction, and motivation skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Unquestionable integrity and character are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Ability to resolve issues and concerns that may arise.
  • Effective leadership and discipline skills are crucial for success.
  • Ability to structure camp activities and manage resources efficiently.
