Job Summary

The Accounting Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for managing annual budgets and providing financial support to departments. This role involves creating and reviewing budget proposals, approving purchase requests, and tracking spending.

Responsibilities
  • Create and manage annual budgets for all departments.
  • Work with department heads to coordinate budget planning.
  • Review budget proposals for accuracy and completeness.
  • Approve purchase requests within budget limits.
  • Track spending vs. budget and explain variances.
  • Recommend budget adjustments based on performance.
  • Prepare financial reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • At least 3 years in budgeting, financial analysis, accounts payable, or general accounting.
  • Experience with budgeting software (SAP, QuickBooks, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
  • Maintains confidentiality with financial information.
