Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis Expert to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with experience in leading financial reporting and forecasting processes. They will also be proficient in using NetSuite for accounting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Create monthly financial reports with variance analysis against budget/forecast, highlighting key trends and insights.
- Build and maintain operating models and dashboards to inform business decisions and optimize performance.
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate the financial impact of initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations to drive growth and improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end close in NetSuite, working collaboratively with accounting staff to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Help optimize NetSuite structure and reporting hierarchies to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Assist with setup and mapping of new accounts or departments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Support cash flow forecasting and treasury planning to ensure the company's liquidity and financial stability.
- Track headcount, utilization, and financial KPIs to inform strategic decisions and optimize resource allocation.
- Prepare ad hoc financial models to support pricing, hiring, or strategic decisions, using advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills to build complex financial models.
- 7+ years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in FP&A, preferably with a strong understanding of GAAP accounting and financial operations.
- 2+ years of experience using NetSuite for accounting and reporting, with a proven track record of implementing efficient and effective accounting processes.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and comfort building financial models, including complex formulas and charts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Fluent English (verbal and written), including professional financial communication, with a strong emphasis on clear and concise writing.
- Availability to work full-time aligned with U.S. Central Standard Time (CST).
- CPA or equivalent accounting certification, demonstrating a strong commitment to professional development and excellence.
- Experience with budgeting tools & processes, including prior work in consulting, SaaS, or offshore services environment.
- Familiarity with Power BI, with a strong understanding of its capabilities and limitations.
