Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Enterprise Data Platforms. This includes ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.

  • Deploy, monitor, maintain, and support data infrastructure.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency in data operations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data operations processes, standards, and procedures.
  • Lead response to data-related incidents and ensure timely resolution with minimal impact on business operations.
  • Perform root cause analysis for data issues and implement corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor performance of data platforms, identify bottlenecks, and optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing to ensure optimal system performance and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide solutions to meet business requirements through complex ad hoc data queries.
  • Work closely with Data Engineering and Data Governance teams to monitor, uphold, and improve stability of Enterprise Data Platforms.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 years related experience is required.
  • Bachelors Degree holder in any Computer related course.
  • Experience working with SQL is essential.
  • Experience working with Enterprise Data Warehouse platforms is also required.
  • Experience with Data Lake, Streaming & Big Data technologies is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python programming is a plus.
  • Cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud are desirable.
  • Leadership/Managerial experience is highly valued.
