Strategic Benefits Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Benefits Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic support for our client's Workday technology by delivering innovative ideas and effective solutions.

The successful candidate will have expertise in the Workday HCM product suite, with deep experience and knowledge in U.S. Benefits. You will lead the following as a member of a deployment team, or coach others to successfully: gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and complete knowledge transfer to clients.

You will work with confidential client/data conversion team to help convert legacy data into Workday. Additionally, you will assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions.

We are looking for someone who can mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model. You will communicate clearly and concisely, collaborate effectively, and synergistically to team-based projects. You will also work with team members to address complex tasks/requirements when other team members need support.

Your responsibilities will include facilitating clients' intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices, maintaining clients' ongoing satisfaction, ensuring we are referenceable and referable once in production, and providing regular status reports to project managers keeping them apprised of overall project status.

We value innovation and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively. You will maintain Workday certifications and qualifications, ensure functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation, and assist integrators in configuring/testing integrations between Workday and external systems.

You will contribute to and mold a culture of continuous education amongst your colleagues, mentees, and managers - serve as a professional role model. Finally, you will provide insightful status reports to project managers that highlight risks to project health and improvements in client adoption.

• Current Workday Benefits Certification
• 4+ years configuring and implementing a combination of HCM/Benefits Solutions
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company
• Previous experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Functional experience in one or more of the following areas: HCM/Benefits
• Ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
• Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
• Experience deploying multiple HCM/Benefits projects simultaneously a plus
• Expected travel is +/-20% depending on project
