Property Operations Manager Position Overview

This is a senior leadership role that requires experience in property management, with a focus on overseeing day-to-day operations and leading a team of junior property managers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in U.S. residential and/or commercial property management, as well as previous experience managing or leading a property management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee tenant communications, lease renewals, and resolution of escalated tenant issues
  • Assist in managing leasing activities, including advertising, coordinating with your team for property showings, applicant screening, and drafting lease agreements
  • Ensure compliance with lease terms, investigate violations, and address tenant disputes professionally
  • Supervise vendor coordination for maintenance repairs and upgrades, and coordinate with the property manager for larger renovation projects
  • Collaborate with leadership on property marketing strategies and operational improvements
  • Oversee properties' financial performance, including drafting budgets, tracking actuals to budget, and dictating strategies to maximize financial outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong background in U.S. residential and/or commercial property management (required)
  • Previous experience managing or leading a property management team
  • Proficiency with AppFolio or similar property management software
  • Available to work in US time zones
  • Available to start within 2 weeks from job offer
