  • As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional client care standards are maintained.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client services team, focusing on compliance work for sole traders, partnerships, and small limited companies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing draft accounts for review from source documents, which may be incomplete or require reconciliation with a computerized trial balance.
  • Undertaking larger Limited company accounts with relevant support.
  • Clearing routine queries with clients.
  • Preparing tax computations based on draft accounts.
  • Finalizing figures for managers and preparing paperwork for clients to approve.
  • Dealing with ad hoc client queries.
  • Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT Returns for clients using bridging software.
  • Providing general support to clients and directors.
  • Assisting/trainee queries and development.
  • Maintaining awareness of time spent on jobs and the importance of achieving budgeted hours.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within an accountancy firm during training and be passionate about supporting clients.

In addition, you will have experience in:
