Senior Accounts Receivable Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process, verify, and post receipts for goods sold or services rendered;
- Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments for credit card customers;
- Communicate with previous clients and customers to request payment and arrange payment plans;
- Maintain accurate records regarding payments and account statuses;
- Perform account reconciliations by ensuring prepaid customers have no outstanding balances on their account;
- Research and resolve account discrepancies;
- Collaborate extensively with the collections department to review accounts, client payments, and credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms;
- Create detailed reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses;
- Obtain necessary information from other departments to ensure accurate and complete records and up-to-date accounts receivable ledgers and journals;
- Perform various administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts; and
- Perform tasks analogous to the foregoing.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of Accounts Receivable/Payable and/or General Accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of Netsuite and its functions for AR and AP processes.
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
