Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting operations, financial record-keeping, and compliance with company policies and regulations.

BIR Compliance and Tax Filings
  • Prepare and file BIR reports, including VAT, withholding tax, and other required forms.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and deadlines.
  • Assist in responding to tax audits and inquiries from government agencies.
Financial Record-Keeping and General Accounting
  • Maintain and update the company's general ledger and financial records.
  • Record, process, reconcile daily financial transactions, and categorize all financial transactions in accounting software.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the company's accounting systems.
  • Prepare journal entries, ledger updates, and adjustments as needed.
Cash Management and Accounts Receivable
  • Process customer invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage outstanding balances to ensure timely collections.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and address any discrepancies or issues.
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements.
Payables and Reporting
  • Verify and process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of all payables, including purchase orders and receipts.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Generate reports on cash flow, revenue, expenses, and other financial metrics.
Support to Finance Team
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Finance Manager on daily tasks.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and other reports as requested.
  • Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial queries and provide support as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles, preferably in the retail or furniture industry.
  • Experience in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Willing to learn the process of Odoo Accounting System.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
