Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned QA professional to contribute to the development of our products. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual software testing and a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans to ensure high-quality applications.
  • Review software requirements, specifications, and technical design documents for accurate testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using a defect tracking system.
  • Perform thorough regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not compromised.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testability and quality.
  • Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide feedback from a QA perspective.
  • Document and communicate test results, status reports, and defect metrics to stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior QA testers to foster growth and development within the team.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manual software testing with a strong understanding of software testing principles.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts with experience in defect tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment with adaptability and eagerness to learn new testing tools and techniques.
