Job Title:

Spearhead growth initiatives in Foodservice & Bakery segments.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute end-to-end sourcing strategies, fostering strong relationships with suppliers and principals.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain to ensure seamless purchase requests, forecasts, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Trading:
  • Identify demand through sales needs, trends, or new products from suppliers.
  • Source new suppliers and principals to expand our offerings.
  • Coordinate testing and sampling to ensure product quality.
  • Monitor shipments from source to warehouse.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain on purchase requests, forecasts, and inventory.
Principal / Supplier Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with accredited suppliers and products.
  • Negotiate and build exclusivity agreements with key principals.
  • Ensure continuity of projects and monitor supplier performance.
Documentation, Testing & Development:
  • Create, maintain, and update the traded database.
  • Review and analyze technical documents from principals.
  • Conduct in-house testing and qualification for new products.
  • Develop evidence-based materials, presentations, and technical sheets.
Technical Sales Support:
  • Partner with the sales team to introduce new products to industrial and bakery clients.
  • Provide expert technical support to client R&D and Product Development teams.
  • Conduct research and testing to tailor products to client needs.
Market Intelligence & Study:
  • Assist in monitoring innovation funnel projects and conducting market analysis.
  • Research and analyze market trends, new product launches, and emerging technologies.
  • Regularly analyze data and trends to stay ahead of competition.
