Senior Bookkeeper Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for performing various bookkeeping tasks.

You will handle processing bills using DEXT and Hubdocs, prepare payables and receivables reports, manage sales invoicing, conduct XERO Projects tracking and reporting, and complete end-to-end preparation of BAS/IAS.

In addition, you will provide high-level professional service to clients in an accurate and timely manner, deliver quality bookkeeping tasks, and report on any problem areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform XERO Payroll, including processing timesheets, superannuation, and PAYG compliance
  • Handle bank reconciliation and Balance Sheet reconciliation
  • Process bills using DEXT and Hubdocs
  • Prepare payables and receivables reports
  • Manage sales invoicing
  • Conduct XERO Projects tracking and reporting
  • Complete end-to-end preparation of BAS/IAS
  • Prepare management reports, cashflow forecasts, and budgets

Requirements:

  • Bookkeeping experience with Australian clients
  • Proficiency in Xero and experience using DEXT or Hubdocs
  • Experience with Xero payroll, reconciliations, invoicing, and BAS/IAS preparation and reporting
  • Experience with cash flow forecasting and budget preparation
  • Experience in Xero Projects tracking and reporting
