Health Content Specialist

The Health Content Specialist develops high-quality, medically accurate content for various audiences. This role requires a strong science or healthcare background combined with excellent writing skills to produce engaging materials.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Translate complex medical/scientific concepts into clear and concise copy.
  • Create health-focused slide decks, websites, campaign assets, and educational materials.
  • Drive the editorial process from first draft to final proof; ensuring accuracy and quality of all content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, strategy, account managers, and project management.
  • Ensure all content is aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in scientific meetings, advisory boards, and client discussions.
  • Contribute research and content to proposals and pitch presentations.

Requirements:

  • Preferably holding a Bachelor's Degree or PhD in any science or medical field.
  • At least 2 to 5 years of experience in health content creation, including medical or scientific content for clinical trials, healthcare professionals, and the public.
  • Experience in pharma agency work is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines, such as Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of using content management systems like Veeva/PromoMats is also preferred but can be trained.

Working Conditions:

  • Able to work remotely.
  • Able to work standard business hours (7 AM to 4 PM).
