Credentialing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Credentialing Specialist to join our team. As a Credentialing Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for the credentialing and re-credentialing process.

  • Main Responsibilities:

    Manage applications, conduct primary source verification, and maintain the credentialing database with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Regulatory Compliance:

    Ensure adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.

  • Privileging and Onboarding:

    Assist with the provider privileging process and facilitate the credentialing components of new provider onboarding.

  • Reporting and Process Improvement:

    Support the generation of credentialing reports, identify and help resolve credentialing issues, and contribute to the improvement of credentialing processes and workflows.

About You:

You are a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is eager to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization.

  • Experience:

    A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant administrative support experience, preferably within a healthcare setting or a regulated environment.

  • Critical Skills:

    Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment, contributing to collective success, and capable of managing tasks independently with minimal supervision.

  • Administrative Acumen:

    A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to managing documentation and data.

  • Problem-Solving:

    Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies or issues in data and documentation.

  • Process Improvement Mindset:

    A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improving administrative workflows and data management practices.

  • Communication & Collaboration:

    Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

    Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

  • Tech Proficiency:

    Proficient in Google Suite, Slack, CRM/support software, and comfortable learning new EHR/credentialing management tools.
