About Credentialing Role

This is a comprehensive position that involves credentialing and re-credentialing support for healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing applications, conducting primary source verification, and maintaining the credentialing database with accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Credentialing Support: Provide in-depth support for all aspects of credentialing and re-credentialing processes, including application management, primary source verification, and database maintenance.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards, serving as a key point of contact for inquiries and processes.

  • Privileging and Onboarding: Assist with provider privileging by preparing necessary documentation and facilitating credentialing components of new provider onboarding.

  • Reporting and Process Contribution: Support report generation, identify issues, and contribute to process improvement.

About You:

You are a highly organized and detail-oriented individual, eager to contribute to administrative processes in a dynamic environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment are essential.

  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant administrative experience, ideally in a healthcare setting or regulated environment. A foundational understanding of data entry, documentation, and administrative workflows is valued.

  • Collaborative & Independent Contribution: Proven ability to work effectively within a team and manage tasks independently with minimal supervision.

  • Administrative Acumen: Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to managing documentation and data. Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in healthcare credentialing standards and compliance.

  • Problem-Solving: Systematic approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies or issues in data and documentation.

  • Process Improvement Mindset: Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improving administrative workflows and data management practices.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Organizational & Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

  • Tech Proficiency: Proficient in Google Suite, Slack, CRM/support software, and comfortable learning new EHR/credentialing management tools.
