Senior Leader in Consumer Loans Operations

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Consumer Loans Operations Department. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of progressive experience in consumer loan operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or people management role.

• This position is responsible for setting directions and guidelines towards the accomplishment of the objectives and targets set for the department on a periodic basis.
• The successful candidate will review existing systems of transactions processing, records keeping, and monitor strict compliance to internal control measures/procedures.
• They will devise changes, improvements, and innovations that will improve the performance of the department.

The Consumer Loans Operations Department Head will be responsible for ensuring the processing and booking of Consumer Loan products and handling the releases of the loan proceeds in various forms.

• Additionally, they will ensure that loan payments of Consumer Loan products are accurately posted in a timely manner.
• Accounting entries will also be posted accurately and timely.

The successful candidate will prepare and review periodically work programs, setting objectives for short, medium, and long-term financial goals of the department aligned to the bank's vision and goals.

• They will manage contingencies that may arise when the assumptions for the financial goals change, revisiting the plans and strategies the department has adopted.
• Furthermore, they will allocate and delegate work contributions of every section, defining how each section will contribute to the department's financial goals/plans.

The ideal candidate will clearly define accountability those of the sections and individuals in the department, coach, and guide everyone on a regular basis.

• In coordination with the section head, they will monitor/review personnel performance for possible movements, promotions, recommendations for HRMDD's action.
• They will also ensure strict compliance to internal control policies as well as external regulations on transactions handled/processed to avoid sanctions/penalties especially by government regulatory agencies.

The Consumer Loans Operations Department Head will ensure and support a systematic approach to generating and analyzing relevant data, information, and knowledge that can and will impact the bank's department business and management processes.

• They will regularly monitor and assess the overall performance of the department and the sections.
• Additionally, they will ensure the accurate preparation and timely submission of reports to external and internal users.

The ideal candidate will ensure that all securities and all accountable items are properly documented, safely kept in accordance with the policies as well as maintain the integrity and values confidentiality of figures, reports, records, and files of the department.

• They will consult and dialogue with internal experts on relevant issues, as part of their validation, problem-solving, and decision-making process.
• Signatory of all transactions and overall supervision of the Consumer Loans Operations Department.

This is a full-time administrative position in the banking industry.

• At least 8 years of progressive experience in Consumer Loans Operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or people management role.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, set strategic direction, and drive performance towards departmental goals.
• Deep understanding of consumer loan products, transaction processing systems, and records management.
• Strong knowledge of internal control procedures, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
