Job Title: Tax Financial SpecialistAbout the Role

We are seeking an experienced accountant for part-time ongoing work involving financial record cleanup and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have deep familiarity with U.S. tax regulations, QuickBooks Online, and experience working with U.S.-based companies.

Responsibilities:
  • Reconstruct monthly Profit & Loss statements for the past 2 years to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Reconcile all accounts for accuracy, identifying discrepancies and making necessary corrections.
  • Generate reports for legal counsel, including Profit & Loss Statements, 941 Payroll Tax Summary, Texas Sales Tax Liability Reports, and Balance Sheets to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and tax requirements to minimize risk and liability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required to manage complex financial data.
  • Experience working with U.S.-based companies is essential to understand their specific needs and challenges.
  • A deep understanding of U.S. tax structure, especially Texas Sales Tax and IRS Form 941, is crucial to navigate tax regulations effectively.
  • Proven experience in financial reconstruction and reconciliation is necessary to rebuild trust and credibility in financial reporting.
